These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SynConnector websites, marketing materials, documentation, and SynConnector software products (collectively, the “Services”), including SynConnector for eBay and related marketplace plugins. By accessing the site, downloading, installing, or using a SynConnector product, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
SynConnector provides WordPress / WooCommerce plugins that help merchants connect their store to marketplaces such as eBay. References to “we”, “us”, or “SynConnector” mean the operator of this website and the publisher of the SynConnector plugins.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and have authority to act for the business that installs or purchases SynConnector. You are responsible for complying with eBay, WordPress.org, Freemius, hosting, tax, and other applicable rules in your region.
Accounts and licenses
Paid SynConnector plans are sold and licensed through Freemius. After checkout you receive access to downloads and license activation in WordPress admin. License keys, renewals, refunds for paid plans, and buyer-portal access follow Freemius checkout terms and the plan you selected (including site limits for Pro, Studio, or Agency where applicable).
- Keep your checkout email and license credentials confidential
- Do not share, resell, or sublicense a license beyond what your plan allows
- We may suspend access for fraud, abuse, or material breach of these Terms
Free and paid software
Free core features may be offered without charge. Paid features require an active license. Feature sets can change as we improve the product; material changes to paid entitlements during an active prepaid term will be handled reasonably and, where required, in line with Freemius / applicable consumer rules.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. Without limitation, you must not:
- Violate eBay, marketplace, or payment-provider policies
- Attempt to reverse engineer, bypass licensing, or attack our systems or those of Freemius / eBay
- Use SynConnector to publish unlawful, infringing, or deceptive listings
- Interfere with other customers’ use of the Services
Your store, data, and marketplace accounts
SynConnector plugins run on your WordPress site. You remain responsible for your WooCommerce catalog, customer data, hosting security, backups, and eBay seller account. You authorize SynConnector to call eBay APIs on your behalf after you complete OAuth connect. You must disconnect or revoke access if you stop using the plugin.
Third-party services
The Services depend on third parties such as WordPress, WooCommerce, eBay, Freemius, and your hosting provider. Their terms and availability are outside our control. Outages, API changes, or policy changes by those parties may affect SynConnector features.
Intellectual property
SynConnector branding, documentation, and plugin code are protected by intellectual property laws. WordPress plugins are typically distributed under a GPL-compatible license for the PHP code; trademarks, logos, and non-GPL assets remain ours or their respective owners. You do not acquire ownership of SynConnector by purchasing a license.
Refunds
Refund eligibility for paid plans follows the money-back window and conditions shown at checkout (for example, a 14-day money-back policy where advertised). Renewal charges and exceptions are governed by Freemius and the plan terms presented when you purchase.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, perfect sync with eBay, or fitness for a particular catalog size or hosting environment. You should test on a staging site before bulk publishing.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SynConnector and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for listing errors, stock mismatches, missed orders, or marketplace penalties arising from your configuration or third-party failures. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid to us for the SynConnector product at issue in the three months before the claim (or, if free, zero). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the minimum required by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold SynConnector harmless from claims arising out of your listings, store content, misuse of the Services, or violation of marketplace or legal obligations.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
Termination
You may stop using SynConnector at any time by deactivating the plugin and cancelling renewals in the Freemius buyer portal. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Services and other users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the SynConnector operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
